Preparation for Birth Group Class

My Preparation for Birth class runs once every 6 weeks on a Sunday afternoon at AKMD Medical Centre in Kelmscott.

What's covered:

• How to maximise the benefits of your body's natural hormones

• Understanding the stages of labour

• How to work with your body throughout labour and birth

• Pain coping techniques

• Medical and non-medical pain relief options

• Ways your partner can support you

• When to come to hospital and what to bring

• Caesarean birth and other interventions

• The Golden Hour after birth

Especially tailored for women planning to give birth at Armadale Health Service, but all are welcome.

​

Fee: $165 per couple (4 hours)
